Comments          Show Record          Joy as a Puppy          Progeny

Shown only on Specialty weekends, Joy earned her championship with four majors:
Winner's Bitch and Best of Opposite Sex to Peter's Best of Breed at Columbianna KC
Winner's Bitch and Award of Merit at prestigeous Montgomery CO. 1994,
WB and Best of Opposite Sex at Trenton KC to Peter's BOB 1995,
WB/BW at Ladies DC 1995

Bred to CH Terrydale Int'l Affair (Felix) , Joy's first litter produced five champions. Like his dam, Mulder finished with four majors, earning his last one the hard way -- with a BEST IN SHOW from the classes to become CH Serendipity Terrydale HK X-F, at the age of 18 months. His litter brother, Trooper, became CH Serendipity's Trailblazer at 19 months, also finishing with four majors. Trooper then followed that with two Best of Breed wins, defeating seasoned specials. CH Serendipity Goodspice Glory earned her champioship at 20 months, finishing with four majors and defeating specials for Best of Opposite Sex for her final major. CH Serendipity Seraphim (bitch), won first place in American class, owner-handled at Montgomery Co. 1997. She was then loved and permitted to mature by her owners. When she was brought out as an adult, she finished quickly and won several Bests of Breed, including one during the San Antonio ATCA Floating Specialty weekend. CH Serendipity Arthur of Armack was also a little slower to mature than Mulder or Glory, but when he entered the ring he quickly picked up 12 points including a Best of Breed from the classes to win his first major, and then topped it off with a Group IV. Arthur recently won his second major at a Specialty show to become the 5th from his litter to finish and the 6th champion for Joy.

A second breeding to Felix was again successful, producing four show prospects. Dezi and Esther (Serendipity Regal Spirit) were "in the ribbons" all three days Montgomery weekend 1997.  Esther presently has nine points including one major.  CH Serendipity Dezilu won her first major at nine months. She was Best of Breed at the San Antonio ATCA Floating Specialty and won the Airedale "Bowl." Dezi was also awarded Best of Opposite Sex at Montgomery County Oct. 1998 and Oct. 1999. Serendipity Heart's Delight (Annie) will be shown next year and Serendipity Bonds of Love (Ruth) shortly thereafter.

A third breeding is now just over one year old and we again have high hopes.     Serendipity Wakefield Spice Girl, owned by Mark Wamback and Margery Good was awarded Best Junior in Sweeps and Best in Sweeps twice so far, and is already pointed in less than a three week period. Ch. Serendipity Here I Am lives in Texas .  Owned by Pamela Hammond-Meine and Russell J. Hammond, he won both his majors in one weekend.  Aust CH.Serendipity Blow Your Horn has been exported to Australia and is now owned by S.F. and I.V. Homer.  He has not only earned his Australian championship, but he has also been earning multiple Group wins.
CH. Serendipity Wakefield Spice finished her championship on December 2, 2000, going BOW.
Joy's total is now 8 American champions and 1 Australian.

I believe Joy has definitely proven herself in the whelping box.
