Glory finished her championship at 11 months of age from the Open Bitch Class and was purchased in February 1982 from Forbes Gordon.  We had been looking for a show prospect/brood bitch, and at that time (January), she was being shown by Michael Kemp.  As we walked past the grooming table where she was being groomed for the ring, she reached out and "grabbed" my 7 year old son's shoulder with her paw.  After a short visit she "grabbed" our hearts as well.  We made arrangements to purchase her, and so began the line that was to become Serendipity Airedales.

After a short Specials career, during which she won several Bests of Opposite and a couple of Bests of Breed, plans were made for her future as a brood bitch.

Glory was bred to Ch. Bravo True Grit and together they produced Ch. Serendipity's Classy Babe, Ch. Tartan's MCF Galore and Ch. Tartan's Liquid Gold.  The latter two were owned by E. Forbes Gordon and shown by Michael Kemp.

For her second litter she and Ch. Turith Adonis produced Ch. Serendipity's Joyful Spirit and Ch. Serendipity Red Adonis who was owned by Robert C. Fields and shown by CJ Favre.

Glory (right) had such a wonderful temperment, she even permitted Babe (left) to lay in the whelping box with the puppies.  This has been a trait I have endeavored to keep in my line, and to date I have always been able to keep all my bitches together.

The third time Glory was bred, it was to Ch. Finlair Tiger of Stone Ridge. They produced one champion, Glory's Tekoah Tiger, owned by Dave and Debbie Hempstead and shown by Debbie Hempstead and Margery Good.  She became the foundation of Tekoah Airedales.
